Warren County Career Center employees gathered June 1 to recognize those who had milestones in years of service at WCCC. Adult Basic Literacy Education Coordinator Marjorie Pursell, a 13-year employee, was given best wishes for her retirement.
Three employees marked their 30th year at WCCC – Counselor Kathy Anderson, Culinary Instructor Teresa Collins, and Maintenance/Custodian Lee Sandlin. Secretary Angie Wilson was recognized for 25 years, and Leon Johnson was recognized for 20 years. Both are alumni of WCCC. Director of Secondary Education Gary Patton was recognized for 15 years.
Employees reaching the 10-year mark were Peg Allen, Rod Dillon, Kim Gambill, Brenda Jenks, Rick Rowland, Toni Welles, Greg Beasley, Cathy Duell, Gordie Gregg, Jackie New and Dan Tobler. Five-year employees recognized were Budd Gann, Maggie Hess, Larry Smith, Peggy Hamilton and Cheryl Parker.
First year “rookies” were given baseballs. They were Aunja-Leis Bishop, Diane Ciolli, Deon Gephart, Chuck Goodyear, Tammie Havenar, Larry Lambdin, Hugh McPhail, Matt Polichany, Rebecca Stevens, Kelly Shields, Kristin Wineberg and Peter Tarkin.
The WCCC Project Excellence Innovative Educator, Yvonne Kaszubowski, was also recognized.
