At the Warren County Career Center, there are many quality Career-Technical programs that will prepare you for an exciting career in a field of your choice. Some lead straight to work and others require post-secondary education in a college, university or technical school. Many of these programs will allow you the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school. Tech Prep programs offer articulated college credits and scholarships.

Career Preparation

Our Commitment To You:
Each program is designed to ensure that graduates are technically proficient, have marketable career skills and are academically prepared to enroll in post-secondary education. Students are encouraged to participate in their high school athletic and artistic groups and other student activities at their home schools. Warren County Career Center students participate in career technical student organizations related to their career fields.

  • Academics Are Important! Students are offered a full range of academic courses in math, science, English and social studies. Academics at the Career Center are designed to prepare students for college entrance. All curriculum is based on the Ohio Content Standards.
  • WCCC is a High Schools That Work site The staff at WCCC is committed to raising the academic and technical achievements of our students. Our goal is to ensure that each student earns his or her technical certificate, high school diploma and Career Passport.

 

  • WCCC is accredited by North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

Can I go to college if I attend the Career Center?

Yes! In fact, over 50 percent of our students currently go on to college after graduation. You will have career skills upon high school graduation that will enable you to work your way through college. Many students earn college credits toward associates degrees while at the Career Center and so will have an advantage over other students entering college in the fall.
