The Multiskilled Medical Technician prepares students with cross-training in five certifiable medical skill areas. In addition to general education and health technology core courses, students will receive technical skill training for Pharmacy Technician, State Tested Nursing Assistant, EKG Technician, Phlebotomy Technician and Healthcare Provider CPR/First Aid.
Students are also required to complete a 170 hour unpaid externship as part of the 736 hour program. The externship is scheduled after all coursework is completed.
Admission Requirements:
• High School diploma or GED
• Complete the WorkKeys assessment
Required Prior to Externship:
• Pass FBI/BCI background check
• Required imminizations: Physical with TB (one-step), Hepatitis Series, MMR, Tetanus and Varicella (chicken pox).
Certifications:
• EKG Technician (CET)
• Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)
• Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
• State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA)
• Health Care Provider CPR/First Aid

plus selected Saturdays, 9:00am – 1:00pm
