The Learning Lab Preschool is a public preschool licensed under the Ohio Department of Education. Enrollment for the preschool is open for children 3-5 years of age. A 2003 nominee for the Franklin B. Walter Outstanding Educator award, the preschool provides an inclusive environment serving typical developing children and special needs children. Our degreed teachers provide activities where children learn through play and practice. The curriculum is aligned with the Ohio Pre K standards.
The Learning Lab Preschool provides opportunities for parents to be involved by having parent events and a parental advisory committee. Our affiliation with the WCCC Early Childhood Program provides enrichment activities for the preschoolers and interaction on a higher level. Field trips, WCCC program participation and guest visitors provide opportunities for the families and students of WCCC to be part of the Learning Lab Preschool.
