Automotive Collision students learn to repair and refinish damaged auto bodies using metal, glass and plastic. Students learn minor and major auto body repair, auto painting, frame straightening, and other auto body repair jobs including glass installation and upholstery repair and installation. The work is exacting and detailed. Many colleges offer degree programs for the automotive collision field.

The Automotive Collision program is certified by the National Automotive Technician Education Foundation, commonly known as Automotive Service Excellence, ASE. An agreement with Nashville Auto Diesel College offers several articulated college credits in this program. Internships and job placement Seniors may be eligible for early job placement in the second half of the school year. Criteria for placement include instructor recommendation, grade point average and attendance.
